Agamemnon, with short selling its really just a matter of allocation. A stock like CCMP or MSCC needs to be an entire drawn out plan where you look at worse case scenarios, and average into the position.. Either that or you hit it real hard, and set the stop and either hit or miss... CCMP and MSCC could easily move another 10 or 20 points higher from here if the nasdaq goes to 2300, but if you plan it out right that could be a good thing as they become more bloated : )

I honestly believe if I never started short selling I would have been whiped out ages ago.. Simply because it taught me the importance of stop loses, asset allocation, and working with my emotions. For all the grief it gives you trying to go against the tide, the rewards are huge when the stock free falls and you sit back and watch..

I also think its easier to identify the trash/over priced companies then it is to find the gems that havnt been discovered yet. When you look at GOTO, CCMP, MU, HOMS, ZIXI, you really gotta laugh at their valuations.. because eventually either their business needs to reflect the bloated share price or they have to come down to earth when the herd decides to run for cover!
