That was good on MoJo-- i heard the name, maybe someone played it but never got into him....
which gave me a little idea--- reviews....
everyone has an opinion and just like that one if a header was put up something like:
JAZZ: STEVE LACY
and the review:
this cat will scare big dogs and small children away with his free blowing stuff and if you like soprano sax and 'free' jazz like Art Ensemble of Chicago then
the scary stuff is darn-right beautiful-- like The Flame - Steve lacy featuring Bobby Few piano and Dennis Charles drums(Soul Note 1982)which I have....however I really enjoy his 1957 album Soprano Sax( Prestige, OJCCD-130-2 (P-7125) (CD))(Steve Lacy-soprano saxophone Wynton Kelly-piano Buell Neidlinger-bass Dennis Charles-drums
wonderful 'cool' jazz and swing of that era and every track is great--- bopping and still fresh-- good stuff
This guy has a discography a mile long....and these are the only two I have from him........
========================

so much for the review but I'm learning and reading about the market from people I am accustom to read-- that means I don't necessarily agree but the opinion maybe valuable or informative ..... would like to see music too and just alittle
header could provide a searchable review or comments--
I'm getting into music more and more and classical and other stuff besides my limited experiences.....
maybe do it here or set up an off shoot thread ---

anyways a thought-- MoJo got a bunch of records too-- do have anymore of them?

PANASONIC commercial--

Oh yeah I found another Panasonic commercial from England:
still aint found that one I want-
So I set this up --
I like ska- type music and I find
this site called Junction 47 from Leeds England=a site that just describes bands from that area: 212.50.190.134:8062/
WHAT is cool is some of the descriptions of the bands--- and particularly this one:

the scaramanga six== formed from the survivors of an
horrific car crash
, the six impose the terror, humility and
desperation of that trauma on entranced audiences
everywhere. no two gigs are the same, but you'll know
you've had a lasting experience...

I'm almost on the floor when I see:

brazil== after a recent no.4 indie hit on the Fierce Panda
label, and use of one of their tracks for an ad for
Panasonic, brazil should need no introduction!

shooot- maybe that wasnt asian after all-- so I go there
and its crap Flash--animated and I find the commercial--
FIRST---WARNING===the title of their EP is ADULT-language so those
that dont like that stuff should not go there:
halfway down is their mention of Panasonic commercial:
(not flash)--

future-wave.co.uk

and its NOT the asian thing-- its Pop music and its a good
looking lady stripping down to her underwear-- no nudity--
and the
interesting twist that Panasonic plays in--- I guess its on
TV there-- (36 seconds and Windows Media)
I liked it

PS -- the ska band on that previous site is Punk-- too hard
for me--
