In the 80's a guy I knew came to me asking If I'd like to invest in his new idea.
It was a discount warehouse retailing business model which its shoppers would have to pay an annual fee, just for the right to shop there. I thought he was crazy at the time. I said no thanks.
His name is Jeff Brotman...the company is called Costco... He started it in Seattle...don't tell me almost doesn't count. Trust me...I know!
