Brandon, well written post ..... a primer on personal accountability as one would expect from a trading site partner ...

You did miss one major point though ..... if a site has a tie in with a broker and can profit from channeling traders to that broker .... and further profit from increasing the number of trades one makes through that broker .... that is where the rub is.

Does your site direct individuals to a preferred broker ?? If so, does your site receive any compensation whatsoever ??

...others, convinced by tow truck drivers with Islands, kids with helicopters and stories of overnight riches came into the game with not much and ended up loosing most of that. Ninety-nine percent of those people lost that money of their own accord. They could not hold a stop or treated the stock market as a form of crack that filled a void in their life, maybe both. Because these people lacked the disciple needed to succeed in this field they are no longer with us. These people are accountable for their own actions and should be held as such. No trader ever had a gun put in their mouth and was told they had to trade

"Wow. All I can say is...wow." (Remember Steve Martin in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"? Only difference is the brokers and sites are not quite as charming.) That is not a very generous characterization of people who have been ruined, Brandon. Maybe you should reconsider your present callous attitude. Personally, I think it is sickening that you would blame these people like this. If they were ignorant, well then their brokers certainly did not offer them any assistance with their crooked partners, now did they? No, most of these unfortunate souls were directly led down that path by chat sites set up in such a way, with brokerage ads all over the site, and in fact even brokerage staff in the chat rooms monitoring the situation, that they were lent an aura of credibility. Surely the brokerage firms would not cut deals with criminals? Or would they? Or are they actually the criminals themselves? Answers are coming.
