Again, you refer to "the culture" as if it were homogeneous. It's not. You have a rural, extremely conservative subset of the culture imposing its own standards, by armed force, on the entire country. Imagine Jerry Falwell taking over the US, imposing his own standards by force, and claiming to represent "the culture". Are you saying that the women of Kabul really want to be confined in their homes, denied the opportunity to work, denied medical care, ad infinitum, ad nauseam? If they really want this, why do they have to be beaten up to persuade them to accept it? Or are you denying that these circumstances exist? Or are the women of Kabul a bunch of westernized hussies who need to be put in their place and shown the way of purity by those who still have the "real" culture...?
