Re: That article is rife with bad grammar

The grammar may be rough, but the content is little more than a listing of specifications and roadmaps.

I posted extensive discussion of why I expected these results, and there they are!

A whole lot of Intellabees responded with a whole lot of very nasty comments, almost always aimed at the person instead of the argument.

We still don't know if AMD can get great results from SOI on .13, but we do know that Intel's first shot at .13 w/o SOI is (so far) quite a disappointment.

I really think Intel management expected better - the sudden appearance of .13 tualtins for servers in the roadmaps, including new PIII-core server chips to be introduced next year, is a sign that they didn't get the power savings and yields for the P4-core that they hoped would let them dump the PIII-core.

Tony,

Get a life!

!0:40 pm on a Friday night and you are still posting this BS.

I feel for you man. I'm not getting any at this moment either! (but I can assure you that that is at my discrestion).

Even Paul is probably in bed with a new power tool, or something. (and to my delight, he is on "ignore" so I don't even have to see his lambastic response!).

Bonno notte.

Pravin.

Tony: That article is rife with bad grammar, bad assumptions and bad conclusions. Other than that, it stinks. It torques me seeing stuff in print that a lot of contributors here put to shame every day.

The site in question seems to have some rather good sources, but their own technical insight is shockingly poor. So while they get a lot of good information very early, the comments they insist on attaching are often not worth reading (i.e. either they are extremely simple, or they are simply extremely wrong).
