Re: Beat you to it. <LOL!> Yes, you did. The grammar may be rough, but the content is little more than a listing of specifications and roadmaps. I posted extensive discussion of why I expected these results, and there they are! A whole lot of people posted a whole lot of very nasty comments, almost always aimed at the person instead of the argument. We still don't know if AMD can get great results from SOI on .13, but we do know that Intel's first shot at .13 w/o SOI is (so far) quite a disappointment. I really think Intel management expected better - the sudden appearance of .13 tualtins for servers in the roadmaps, including new PIII-core server chips to be introduced next year, is a sign that they didn't get the power savings and yields for the P4-core that they hoped would let them dump the PIII-core.
