true - They tank with everything else in a "crash", but they "come back" sooner... FWIW

Check out the performance of HM over the last 100 years
or
... in the 70's, early '80's any of the Gold stocks.

there has been SOME correlation lately, but i still maintain that it's not significant. over the longer term they clearly march to their own drummer.
