Talk about moral midgets! Clinton and his evil twin Hillary would do anything for power. They are the epitome of power-hungry politicians. I agree with your statement about George Washington yielding up power voluntarily. If he had not set that example, people like Clinton would be haunting our politics forever.

I'd put in a vote for Madison. But ask me again in a month, I might give a different answer.

Perhaps an unusual compliment to Washington.

I think he recognized that he wasn't quite as brilliant as Madison, Jefferson or Hamilton. So he was quite willing to put Madison against Hamilton or Jefferson against Hamilton on a particular issue and then look at what they came up with. Pick what he thought was the best foundation for the new government under the Constitution. He did well.
