pcstel- Sounds like you still don't believe me<g> Here is some proof:
"The settlement, consistent with their 1990 agreement, also confirms that both Motorola and QUALCOMM have the right to market CDMA chipsets without paying a royalty to the other company based on chipset sales."

Don't ask me to explain why MOT hasn't had any success selling these CDMA chips, but like I said before, who would buy them? Nokia, Samsung? Think about it.
