"Sure it does" Ok then, admit you're wrong. "Very, very few get to do anything dramatic enough to leave anything on the historical record." That's because very few have anything to say, it has nothing to do with dramatics. Engineering people so they have nothing to say is not a solution. "Even if they do, there's no telling how people 200 years in the future will be affected by it and how they will use it. So I add my drop and you add your drop and what comes of it, if anything, we'll never know." I for one don't want to know. People are people and will always follow their own feelings and inclinations, why on earth would you want them to be anything different? If your way is so wonderful I'm sure you will lead them to manna by your very example. Scientific and Christian missionary intervention have been for their greater part a proven failure. We must learn to not stick our noses where they don't belong.
