>>So my 5 after hours trades, are they dead? Did I buy or sell anything? <<

Semantic problem here. The NAZ didn't have AH, but ECNs did. Brokers hooked into those managed to get some trades done. If your trades made it through the ECNs, they're not dead. Beats me, but since the NAZ has someone else to blame, maybe they won't try to pretend it never happened and nix the AH trades (which would be a) quite controversial, and b) a bookkeeping nightmare).

The whole thing reminds me of a day years ago on the grounds of San Diego's privately held General Atomics, a company that does fusion research, among other things. So it has power lines on the chapparal cloaked property, and one day a red tailed hawk that had just caught a snake perchanced to land on the top power line. Not an easy perch for a big bird, and the hawk dropped the snake, which hit the line below.

General Atomics found itself without power (fusion still doesn't quite work economically <g>) and host to a 5 acre weenie roast featuring snake and raptor as the main course. The fire department was invited.

To this day, everyone blames the hawk.

Anyhow, I stayed away from the AH strangeness, but am going to try to take advantage somehow Monday. All I can say is I'm printing out my portfolio, and I'm going to be very careful reading & filing my confirmations, and I'm back to lurking.

Good Luck, Cheers, Tuck
