Gottfried, thanks for the gasoline link. It sure is handy if you have to pay for gas. I bet Bush and Cheney are using their Government Charge cards so they hardly care about the price changes.

Some of my elderly Republican neighbors want to know when the current administration is going give out gas coupons to the old folks.

As my neighbor Ray explained, the big Detroit V8 in his Ford LTD uses a lot of gas when he goes to pick up his, rent subsidy check, food stamps, the free lunch at the seniors center, and the free clothing at Goodwill, not to mention the free canned goods at the local Kroger store for needy folks.

"Gettin' Old is gittin' to be a hassle", he said. I told him to get a job at Wal-Mart, but Ray said it wouldn't work because he would have to tell folks what he really thinks of them and that would be bad for business.

But old Ray hasn't lost his touch. He borrowed from me 32 MB of PC 100 (memory) for his computer that conned some relative out of.

All my friends said that the new administration was heartless, but Cheney's recent implant of a pacemaker, blows that theory out of the water.

Regards, Jerome

The Big Plan for the rest of the month.

For the next ten trading days the semi's do modest retreat from their current level. (5 to 8 %).

But starting the 25th of June until 3rd of July a very pronounced upswing.

So the plan would be to add to positions after three or four consecutive down days and to sell( on the 3rd of
July)or on the earnings announcement or the day prior if there is a big run up in price.

As a rule its hard to lose money on the third of July, (but a few have managed it successfully.

This short term prediction stuff is never easy. But some body's got to do it.

Now I just have to hope that July 3rdrd does not make a liar out of me.

Regards, Jerome
