Hi Peter. Yes, we're enjoying the weekend. Hope you are, too.

BRK.TO is an interesting chart, but not one I'd likely jump in to play, or feel badly that I missed.

It wasn't predictable, as I read those charts.

Up $.68 on Friday. That one price move took it over the 20 day and 20 week MA, and on the daily, that price move caused the DMI cross and MACD reversal.

I might look at the fundamentals to try to spot a reason, and I'll be following it next week to see if this is the beginning of a trend, but for the most part, it doesn't present that predictable quality that I'm looking for.

It was nice to see the Nasdaq close higher for the week.
If that is repeated for a couple more weeks, I think we'll start to see investors return.
For the moment, I think that many Canadian investors are exhausted by the struggle to stay above water this past year.
So, I'm still going to be very cautious here for awhile.

Edit. Just looking at a few charts.
I note that CDZ.TO presents that same unpredictable quality.

Second edit. Ditto for CRW.TO
