Yes I am sure. But, I have been sure in the past and been wrong. I believe that AMD was founded by Sanders ( a salesman type from Fairchild ) during the late sixties. inteL was founded one to several years later by engineers and scientists, also from Fairchild. Well, he's right and you're wrong. Intel was founded in 1968 and AMD in 1969. Also Sanders had cofounders who were engineers, and even he has a B.S.E.E from Illinois and designed a power supply for the DC-8 at Douglas Aircraft. Sorry.
