<<Well yes I was listening to Voltaire which I should not have. But I had made enough money for my lifetime and my children's lifetime so it was simple greed that caused me not to "obey" Brinker when he said get out and my own VV service when it said get out.
As for not listening to others: sorry but I have to: I just don't understand technology and that is where most of the money is to be made.
Listening to the right others got me into Dell and Qcom: now I know that when you make "enough" money and are at what Brinker calls "critical mass" you get out and maybe just play with a few thousand or so....if you call it playing or whatever...no stock needs to be owned once you have enough money as that is the whole point of the exercise. I forgot to heed my own goals.

I wasnt talking about Just Vster......the porch in general was what I was referring to. Some heeded good advice, but most did not. The problem with this on the porch was that you either had to join in with the masses, or you were tossed aside, attacked and/or banned. How many people came to the porch to tell us porchers we needed to open our eyes and see how things will be getting worse not better?? Lots and lots of people tried, many in nice and polite manners and others not so nice. regardless, most were shown the door.......And yes, I understand you got good advice and got in dell and etc, and you've gotten bad advice and lost $$'s as well....I also understand that you need to listen to advice because you dont understand technology......ok, first, there is a rule in investing....if you dont understand it, dont put your money in it. However, you are more then welcome, if you choose to invest in companies with technologies you do not understand, to listen to peoples advice and opinions....that was not my point...my point was do not buy or sell anything based on someones advice or opinion....listen to what they have to say....try and weigh the differing opinions, do your dd, look at the numbers, insider buying and selling and all the fundamentals and then make your own decisions.....good luck and happy 4th to all......
