Campaign finance reform is the single most important bill which should be passed as soon as possible. Unlimited soft money is very destructive to this country as it practically makes corruption mandatory in DC. Passing this bill will limit the outrageous imbalance of power we saw when Bush first took office where one special interest from one aggressive state was allowed to immediately rob every consumer in America as well as try to rewrite policy to allow them to steal even more. It would also allow a much more qualified candidate like McCain to have a chance against a bought-and-paid-for $58,000,000 front man like Bush and his Uncle Dick Croney (I mean Cheney. Look to McCain to lead the Republicans out of the era ofr rampant corruption and heartless unpopularism.
