thanks for the clarification, graystone... as for the message modification, i actually suggested as much to jeff via pm. he was all for deleting the original post that contained the url with the security issue, but i called his attention to about three of mine and perhaps another one or two from others that also contained similar links. i said, in essence, if you're going to delete that one, you may as well delete these too. however, i understand your point, which goes well beyond message modification. if i'm not mistaken, it has to do with not minding the shop on a much grander scale. hope you're having a nice weekend :) mark
