SONICblue's new Go-Video Dual-Deck VCRs, recently added to the company's line by the acquisition last month of Sensory Science(R), also offer professional quality editing, VCR Plus+ C3(TM) cable box control for easy timer recordings and four heads on both decks in all models for superior slow motion and stop action control. Only Go-Video Offers Consumers One-Touch, Commercial Free Copying SONICblue's new Commercial Free Copy feature allows users to eliminate commercials and other non-programming material advertisements at the touch of a button -- simply place a blank tape in each deck, select the Automatic Commercial Free feature from the on-screen menu, and set the Dual-Deck VCR to record your favorite program. When the original recording is completed, the Dual-Deck will automatically mark each advertisement and then make a commercial-free copy on the second blank tape. This unique Commercial Free Copy technology is only available on the latest line of Go-Video Dual-Deck VCRs, and is another in a long line of innovations from SONICblue. Also new on all Go-Video Dual-Deck VCR models are Commercial Advance(R) and Movie Advance(R), allowing consumers the choice of automatically skipping commercials and movie trailers. "Our latest line of Dual-Deck VCRs empower consumers to make their own individual choices concerning how they watch their favorite programs and movies," said Ken Potashner, CEO and chairman, SONICblue. "Consumers want to watch videotapes and recordings of television programs without being required to watch unwanted material such as commercials and movie trailers. Our new Go-Video line addresses those important issues and, with additional features enabling one-touch copying and seamless editing of home movies, the Dual-Deck VCR is truly an incredible offering." Three New Models Start As Low As $249 SONICblue's top of the line DDV2120 comes with VCR Plus C3(TM) for programming the VCR and cable box in one easy step, S-VHS playback, and a rear panel S-Video input.
