HI PB
The bottom part of your message, eating healthy exercising, etc etc I always do that, even when I was depressed I did that (except for a lot more chocolate).
For courses remember I started belly dancing last week and next week I begin a class in e publishing where I will write up my story of my stock market experiences and e publish it.
But for stocks...I am looking for companies with eps rank of 90 or above in IBD and sales profit margin of A (middle column of three letters on IBD) that also look good when I look at fundamentals myself. So I'm buying arem. I also want a ton of dfxi which is NOT beaten down like arem but I keep missing it wanting it lower...I'll buy a little then hope it goes back to the 30's so I can pick up a lot.
And for the rest, I'll watch.
I'm putting a lot of my money into mutual funds that have done well in bear as well as bull markets but I'm not selling my Janus and Oak which KILLED me last few quarters, figure they'll come back and maybe even outperform again sometime.
It's funny I called Janus and said I wanted future money going into the mmf. She said "But you are supposed to buy the tech when its down" I said "sure but I've been doing that for months now and every 10th of the month I put in $1000 and every 30th that $1000 has been reduced to $800. I can't stand it anymore"
Thank you for your thoughtful response. Best of luck to all of us.
