I think you will find the majority of the differential is because of state taxes... I don't know but 20-30 cents is a big gap and I don't think it all can be blamed on taxes. I will see if I can figure out the tax rates for each state. BTW I read an article in the Sea. Times re the Rio Grande. The mouth of the river was once 100 feet and is now 20?!! The article said a lot of its being choked by non native vegetation. In some places, the river is down to a trickle between the siphoning off of water by Mex. and the US, and a drought......a far cry from its name. I may be pushing it but doesn't the Rio Grande border dubya's home state. I guess its just coincidence. And speaking of our fearless leader, did you know that Spielberg's A.1 predicts a future earth where many of its cities are under water due to global warming? I was concerned that it might turn off the more conservative elements of our society, thinking it would hurt the film at the box office? Not to worry!! Everyone knows conservatives never attend a product produced by the liberal media. They know its a pack of lies, perpetrated for the sole purpose of making them feel uncomfortable in their position. Its the liberals that provide these unpleasant farces with their profits. Of course, we're going later this afternoon but I'm a liberal and can't help myself. ;~)) ted
