I have posted several times on various boards, without getting any response, the observation that the borrowed stock is all in street names so what's stopping the brokers from surrendering their borrowed stock and getting the new stock which will also be in the broker's street name. How in the world does this put any pressure on short sellers? I am long this stock because it looks cheap, considering its growth record and prospects, not because of any short squeeze. Does anybody have a counterargument?
