What victory? Just lost the senate, next congress, all his programs will be rejected. Onoly victory is for special interests gouging the consumers and trying to rip off the public till. You can celebrate their victory if you like. Bush has shown he doesn't care about ANYTHING except them so who cares about Bush anymore? Name one thing he's done for anyone so far except his cronies?

The majority of the American public are wondering if W is up to the job -- seen the latest poll results?

The interviews he's been carefully giving to favorably inclined journalists are not confidence-inspiring; if he's said anything thoughtful in any of them, I missed it. Peggy Noonan's piece was particularly insipid and fawning.

And if Bush is so sharp, why does he avoid press conferences? Could it be that he is not up to answering any tough questions?
