I think Ford, GM, and Bank of America bought most of what they need in servers for Y2k. Only minor replacement demand from that sector till the economy heats up again in a year or two. Which company gained market share against the other during the past 12 months, Intel or AMD? When you've figured out the answer to that one, you'll begin to understand that, except for communist economies, cost matters.
