Please do not confuse Steven and me. We are separate individuals. My points are my points and his are his. It makes no difference to me that I am not be on "THE point Steven is on"- in fact it would be rather redundant of me if I were. Other people may like to repeat each others points ad infinitum, in some very odd tag team verbal relay, but that has zero interest for me.

Whether you support the refugees or not really isn't the point either. We were talking about, I thought, your belief that a majority, or many women, were happy in Afghanistan under the current administration. I say that's almost impossible to know- because the regime is so repressive. I also tried to point out that we can't know much about the violence against women, because reporting in that country is bound to be mighty sloppy. They probably don't even count domestic abuse (if they have crime reporting at all)- which significantly runs up the statistics for assault in this country.
