“Ex-flackmeister in chief Edelstone is just a fond memory for the bus people as Morgan Stanley puts 2002 earnings for RMBS at a phenomenal $0.25 /share.”

There is no need to be so harsh. A little green is fabulous these days in tech-land.

There is an article in today’s New York Times business section talking about MU. It basically talks about MU telling the big boys at a Bear Sterns technology conference at the NY Hyatt about inventory write-downs several weeks before posting their earnings and possible conflicts with disclosure rules. Also that GAAP and SEC are not too happy with inventory write-downs if they are used to show profits on those inventories in latter quarters, essentially cooking the books.
