The power of the government comes from the people, not the other way around. I believe that is a heretic thought on this thread. The Commissar is much more of a stateist than I ever previously imagined. I still find it amazing that an American can harbor such thoughts. Perhaps we should offer to buy him a ticket to someplace where he will be more comfortable- -if he promises never to return. They're hard to find now; so many of them have collapsed. Maybe North Korea would do.
