GET A LIFE......better yet get a job because your tax refund is quickly evaporating........Lindsey conceded as much on Friday, saying that a forecast surplus of $281 billion made earlier this year must be scaled back to about $200 billion, nearly a 30 percent reduction.

A smaller-than-anticipated tax bounty, if it continued over some time, could quickly call into question the wisdom of reducing tax rates and make it harder to craft programs for boosting growth if needed. It adds incentive for Bush administration officials to talk up the economy's prospects.

``Clearly the revenue rates are a little bit lower,'' O'Neill said on Friday, but he insisted there was an ample flow of funds into Treasury.

``We're doing just fine,'' he said.......DON"T MAKE ME LAUGH!
