I think you should allow for a normal rate of return between the two bottoms. That would 12.5% on the SPX roughly I think. On NAZ perhaps it should be higher. So the bottom on that basis would be 800-1000. But also note that interest rates are lower than in 1994 I think. So a bit higher than that would be warranted.
