Tinkershaw,

I have designed products which used RDRAM, SDRAM and DDR, and I have a Micron/DDR computer which has been up and running for 7 months.

RDRAM and DDR are both good technologies and Intel could have gone either way, but Intel has chosen to use RDRAM, and with the cost of RDRAM only two months behind DDR (according to Carl's charts) I think the game is over and RDRAM has won the Intel desktop market.
