Dave,

They used this technology at the Superbowl too, right? There are definitely some Constitutional issues here. This high tech stuff is getting in the way of privacy rights.

The guy who got arrested for growing pot in his house, and the cops found out by using an infrared type monitor as they drove by, has had his conviction overturned on invasion of privacy.

I hope this face recognition software goes that way too.

people who don't believe freedom is a precious commodity
Some of us think freedom is a concept distinct from gun collecting. Freedom needs to be insured but that can be done without arming the whole population. I would like to see the national guard enhanced as a counter to any frisky ideas by the federal troops.

Safety is another precious commodity. The chance of being injured by a citizen with a gun is higher than being injured in a war for most Americans. Some people have no sence of balance.
