Pollution lobbyists are the guys working for GE who for the past 20 years have managed to keep a cork in the EPA and avoid cleaning up the dioxin they dumped in the upper Hudson for years. I'm sure by now they've spent much more lobbying than it would have cost them to clean it up long ago.
