Duke, "A casual reading of the CA order seems to make it very clear that their analysis of the law is that it does not protect competitors and those same competitors will have a tough time arguing that a product that doesn't yet exit in the market place is a monopoly." I'm no legal expert. But my guess from several articles I've read is that the tying isssue is Microsofts last big hurdle. And XP is certainly right in the middle of that controversy. It seems from what I've read that that issue was left open for review by the lower court. If so, there will be companies that will claim that XP will cause irreparable harm. AOL for instant messaging, Real Networks for video streaming, others. Take my opinion FWIW, I haven't really followed this. John
