That must be it. The market expected most of JJ's ruling to be overturned. It was, and there was the typical selling on the news. Maybe the market actually thought that more of the case would be overturned, that's possible. In any event, it's my opinion that when we see an article saying that a breakup is still on the table, this is simply spin. It's spin coming from the State AG's in an attempt to hurt MSFT and put them on the defensive again. It's no doubt the largest bargaining chip they have on their side. If they keep threatening a breakup, they might be able to get MSFT to concede more in a settlement.

I hope I'm right and this is only a bargaining chip. If they actually think that a breakup is warranted then we live in a more messed up, politically motivated world, than I thought. We should sell our MSFT stock now if the AG's are determined to destroy the company. If they are simply bargaining, MSFT will be ok.
