Not really true Skeeter Bug, I will copy my post from the Rambus board here

good thing he didn't talk about the NEGATIVE CASH FLOW. micron burns money like bob marley burned hemp

I see on MU's may 31 balance sheet $ 1.7 B in cash and liquids

I see a loss of $ 301 M for the quarter, of which $ 260 is an inventory writedown !! (so we are really looking at a
$ 41 M loss, sounds different doesn't it?). Depreciation and amortization for the quarter (a non cash charge) was $ 279 M, so if they had not invested for the next upturn in the chip cycle they would have increased cash (approx) by $ 240 M.

But they decided to continue investment and also have that planned for the current quarter; no problem as you can see from the above numbers it will be a long time before they run out of cash.

It really goes to show that statements about this cash burning, being on the way to bankruptcy etc don't become true just because they are parrotted all over the place..

Cheers
Cor
