In all seriousness, news bias should be ascertained not only by the choice of words or phrases, but also by what they choose to cover and what they choose to omit. The broadcast networks and CNN clearly lean left by either measure. I believe Fox leans right on some of their commentary shows like Hannity and Colmes, Brit Hume's round table and the Sunday morning show. But I think their news coverage is straight down the middle and covers much more ground than the competition.

For example, I doubt you'll see this story on the broadcast news tonight.

Yet I believe it is very newsworthy regardless of party affiliation.
