Nortel Networks Ratings Cut by Moody's; May Be Cut Further

Brampton, Ontario, July 3 (Bloomberg) -- Nortel Networks Corp. long-term securities ratings were cut by Moody's Investors Service, and remain on review for a further downgrade.

Nortel's senior long-term rating was cut to ``A3'' by Moody's.

I believe, using common sense, good will can be tax deductable if the acquisition is made with cash but not deductable if the acquisition is made with stock. Tax accounting is completely a seperate book from P/L book!
