Jason, there was a smart card discussion thread a while back... ...and I could not follow most of the technical posts there. One take home message was that there were few pure plays in the smart card market. GEMP seems like a good example of a pure-play in this arena. The only thing that is a bit dicey is that by nature these cards will be mass produced in high volume and at a low cost. I am not sure how profitable this type of business will be. Just thinking aloud. I mean, I thought that CF would have nice fat margins selling at price points we are all familiar with the past two years or so. This year we are witnessing how difficult it is to mass produce specialty flash memory cards profitably in a competitive environment. I can't imagine that flash based ID cards can much more profitable. Aus
