Well thanks for some wise and soothing words-coming from one who just got thru stealing Chkp shares from some very angry bears.
I couldn't live like that, am riding the LTBH freight out of town afraid some bear will will grab me if I get off.
Things were just getting exciting again, getting up each morning at 3 AM to turn the computer on before
making coffee. Now we have to slow down??? Just give me a chance to put in about 10 low buy orders and I'll join you.
It been an outstanding ride alright, so I have bgt 26 trusses for the garage roof and they will be delivered on Thursday. Also have most of the walls finished with 7 windows in place. Spend some before they take it all back.
I may even hire somebody to put the rest together, since were gonna be rich again.
People in CA or MI would not believe the type of fireworks one can buy here. $75 for a single mortar shell.
A bit large for my place- I tried some of the $19 size last year.
Have a good 4th
Sig

Good words venkster....yep, noticed volume was way down, and it normally stays that way with a holiday such as this falling in the middle of the week.

I am thrilled you have been able to catch the swings up and down at the right times.....me on the other hand...I am not trying to time the market....in other words, I am not taking profits and running. I would be partially, If I had full positions in all the stocks I want, but as it is, I am being cautious when I buy with multiple buy orders for same stock going down every few dollars or more. My reasoning is this......I am not a market timer, I do not have the full positions in the stocks I want and am looking to build larger positions. With this in mind, I am simply holding what I have, and adding on the dips.....not selling much of anything. My reasoning is plain and simple....ntap at $12 or $13....well, it may go down to $5, what the hell do i know...but I feel 3- 5 years from now, NTAP will be much higher....with this in mind, I am not selling in the teens...if it drops, I will buy more, but with my luck, the minute I buy at $12, take my profit at $16 and run, the stock will decide to run upwards, and I do not wish to miss it. Most naz stocks are so beaten down it is a joke.....if ntap was in the 50's, I would try and buy and sell for a quick profit, but with it at current levels, I'll take my chances and hold, and buy the nice dips....something tells me if I sell ntap under 20, and dont get it back cheaper, I will be an unhappy camper in a few years. I've lost lots of $$'s the last 2 years....I feel the only way to recoup is to be smart now, buy quality, build sizeable positions and then be patient.....hopefully in 5 years, we can all look back at this time and either congratulate ourselves for buying when things looked their bleakest, or maybe some folks will be kicking themsleves for losing their ass, and then not buying now, only to see prices much higher years from now....who knows? It's anybodies guess.

happy 4th

Keith
