LNN: Not my kind of stock at all amigo.

In answer to your question. As you know the USGS has cut the world into little quads. First they were big quads, but the latest mapping has narrowed things down to about a 50x50' square.

The use of GPS in watering is simple. The sat. tells you where your fields are properly watered via growth of the plant. If you have big tall corn in one spot and little spindly corn in another (and you are watering) then gps identifiess the area that needs more water and fertilizer. If you are watering a couple of thousand acres this can be real handy.

Actually, EGGSHAPE could give you a better run down on the thing as he is involved in NE with crop adjustment etc.

Been scanning and can't find a thing that interests me. Guess I'll just have to trade what I know...DELL, etc.
