Marek, the gold price will obviously rebound at some time, but the big question is whether it will be in our lifetime. Governments will use every trick and maneouvre to try and keep it down. There's a better chance of it rising under Bush than there was under Clinton. I see it being a number of years before it moves back into the US$300 range. The only thing that will move it up sooner is some negative external event that seems beyond government control, and generates general fear and uncertainty, i.e. recession, a spaceship landing in Hoboken, Microsoft recording massive losses.
