Liberalism of the period had as a principal characteristic integrity, a facet of today's liberalism that is sorely missed. Were integrity to return to liberalism, I might well be a liberal myself!

Where have you been?

Already a couple of the Bush's administration members are under investigation and questioning over possible illegal activities.

In the FL vote count, there were many more examples of miscounting in favor of Bush vs Gore in the various counties of the state. The more conservative the county the more likely a miscount.

The armed forces, a bastion of conservatism, is notorious for paying huge sums of money for such minor items such as toilet seats and coffee machines....what's that all about?

In the past, your fearless leader failed to disclose the sale of stock as required by the SEC. He had very questionable dealings in an oil company and was suspected of trafficking in insider trading.

Liberals did not invent greed and dishonesty...it started with all the conservative robber barons of the 19th Century and the very narrowed minded, greedy kings of the 18th Century.

You really don't think Marie Antoinette was a liberal, do you?
