I just finished J. Paul Getty's autobiography "My Life and Fortunes". This was recommended a few years ago by Joseph G (who I think you remember). It was decent. Getty was definitely a remarkable person, who seemed to have the Midas touch in whatever business he endeavored. For reading about a self-made billionaire for inspiration, I preferred the Buffett biography I recently reviewed. I think Joe G's point in recommending the book at the time was that one doesn't build a fortune by day-trading stocks for a few years, but rather by working hard at building a business.
