I agree with everything you said in your post. In fact, as a shareholder I completely agree that companies should never reprice, as it sends the wrong message to employees as well as to Wall Street. This is still my favorite stock and I've been invested since 1996 and don't plan on selling either. It's funny, though. I've realigned my entire portfolio over the last couple of months, selling a bunch and putting it into mutual funds, where I have the bulk of my money. However, I still haven't sold any Cisco. I just believe in this companies management. Chambers is a competitor and it's hard to squelch those types. Anyway, I firmly believe the worst is behind Cisco, so now it's all about execution again. It's going to be fun to watch Cisco start pulling ahead of Lucent and Nortel in their own backyards. Although, I still own Nortel stock, so that won't be fun to watch as their stock continues to take a beating. :)

Being a long term holder has been a trying thing in the last year. But those who stick it out will be rewarded, despite all those "smart" people who tell you buy and hold is dead.
