It's hard to imagine he murdered her, but I wouldn't rule it out. He knows more than he has let on so far, though. Maybe his wife killed her.

I heard a report earlier today that the police are setting up to use dogs to search all the dumpsters within a few blocks of her apartment.

I have a new theory. According to the telephone records she did call him one more time after she was last seen the day before. She may have threatened suicide and when he didn't give in, she did it. He then arranged to have her body removed. I thought it very unprofessional of the police to not perform a thorough forensics examination of her apartment before it was rented to new occupants.

Reminds me of the White House secretary who was reported to have come running in screaming that Vince Foster killed himself in the parking lot. A few hours later, his body was found in the woods in a park quite a ways from the White House. A clear case of a dead man driving and walking himself to a less conspicuous place, coincidently less connected to the White House and rumors of Clintonian retribution and preemptive strikes.
