Re: Qcom...

Everyone's looking for the next Microsoft, everyone's looking for the company that has the next Windows monopoly...

Problem is, we likely never see that again...at least for a long, long time..

It wouldn't surprise me if Marshall Applewhite is really secretly pulling the strings there....have you ever read the Qcom thread?

PE is not 150. Its around 40-50. Qcom will make about 1.00-1.10 this year. Qcom MGMT is not csconian in their smoke and mirror's accounting ways. they are upfornt and realistic with estimates, so there is some upside posibility considering NO revenue from CHINA is calculated in. Please if you want to quote PE ratio's go look at the actuall numbers and not read it off YAHOO. Qcom also has 3 billion in cash and no debt. when qcom wasnt worth 4 billion at 6 a share two years ago. The company is Msft in the 80's and the question isnt IF you should own it, but what is a fair price. Since MSFT was trading at 30-50PE in its growth heyday Qcom should have the same honor, so its probably fairly valued arround where it is, asxsuming Multiples dont compress more.
