slacker- QUALCOMM and Nokia entered into a subscriber unit license agreement in 1992 pursuant to which royalties are payable by Nokia to QUALCOMM at industry standard rates.

MOT and LU ( thru old parent AT&T) got special deals because they funded the original CDMA development. NOK did not and got no special deal. I think Sweetheart deal here is that Q did not RASIE the rates for all the BS being spread for the last 2 years.
