"when emotions like ego"

Apologies for being technical, but (from my vantage point)

-- everything arises in the life force (aka The Divine)
-- a series of contractions of that life force, in the form
of inclinations, tendencies etc (seen together)in an overall pattern are the so-called ego
-- the experiences of the so-called ego come in various
flavors, each with its own distinctive "feeling"
-- the feelings are in various families, most common families being sorrow, anger, fear (and their various subsets)
-- thus, the ego is the "program set", and feeling is a
"value-tag" associated with the "content-data"

Does that make sense?

But I do understand your point--that how one FEELS is definitely part of one's trading and has to be taken into account in one manner or another.

Namaste!

Jim

Kirk, **** Options and mechanics of the formula ***

If an investor does not understand the mechanics of covered call writing all the paper trades in the world are not going to save his portfolio. This is not: >> a do it now and read the instructions later type of program <<

In covered call writing there are no significant emotions involved. Its a simple formula of Stock price + strike price + call premium over a specific period of time. I look for a 9 to 12% gain and sometimes I have to use a strike that is two months away.

Its not a get rich formula, but it does pay the rent and keep beer in the fridge.

Have a good 4th....Jerome
