Why would Q have to give up anything?

If it was just a matter of Nokia "giving in" and signing a license they (presumably) have been reluctant to sign, that's one thing. But if they gave QCOM a bunch of IP, that's quite another. I find it very difficult to believe that Nokia (and TI, for that matter) signed the same deal as everyone else AND gave QCOM something extra as well.

That wouldn't make any sense at all...
