went to a Chiropractor and was able to walk comfortably out of the office

You wrenched your back with what was probably a pretty violent move playing racquetball but somehow the chropractor was able to cure you with a few light touches to the body in one single visit......???? The guy deserves a NObel prize for Medicine.... How come they couldn't do didley for my back?

J, your story is a duplicate of my other than cause. If it happened once it may happen again. I have had several episodes over time. More than a dozen

Somestime what I call the crick occurs but I'm not mis aligned. I can tell if as soon as I think it's occurred I stand on a floor with a square pattern. Align you feet with the squares with symetry. Look up and then slowing look down at the floor while relaxing. If you are looking slightly to the right of left of the center of you feet, it's chiropractor time.

I have found however that even if I'm not out of alignment that if I do nothing the progression of pain over a few days will occur.

I picked up from an import store once a nice long Manchester United scarf. One does may not need a scarf from an English Premier Soccer team. But I go with the recipe that works. Using it to hold a blue ice pack following 20 on and 40 off as required can eliminate and or reduce the discomfort with out pain killers usually with little need to not function doing normal activity which has included going sailing. The ice packs may only be needed for one to two days and no bed restriction.
